Sony celebrates the PS3 launch of Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut a week early

Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut isn't set to release for PS3 until next week, but Sony and Rising Star Games, unable to contain their excitement, released the game's official launch trailer today.

As with most launch trailers, the video sets you up for the story you'll embark on as FBI special agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the murder of a young woman in the town of Greenvale.

Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut looks to address the flaws of the original Xbox 360 version with updated HD visuals, a reworked control system, and post-game DLC created by  Hidetaka Suehiro. Look out for the game for PS3 on April 30.
