Sony confirms LittleBigPlanet Karting in ‘development’

LittleBigPlanet Karting has officially been confirmed by Sony as "in development".

After a LittleBigPlanet racing kart game was outed a few days ago by online retailer FutureShop attending the Sony "Destination PlayStation" event, Sony has officially confirmed the game via Twitter.

"We can confirm that LittleBigPlanet Karting is in fact in development and we look forward to sharing more on the game soon!" Sony said today.

The game is said to support the PlayStation Move peripheral and will launch alongside a new steering wheel attachment.

Not other details about the game have been announced at this time, but we should expect more from Sony in the coming weeks.
