Earlier today, Sony announced a price cut for the PS Vita, lowering the cost of its powerful, yet underachieving handheld to a more attractive $199.99. During the press conference, SCEE president Jim Ryan also teased the system's memory cards will also be getting a price job, but didn't reveal details.
We now know you can save anywhere from $5 to $20, depending on what size memory card you'll be getting. Below are the new prices for each PS Vita memory card.
"PS Vita will be the ultimate companion device to PS4 through key features like “Remote Play,” which allows PS4 games to be instantly playable on PS Vita at home via Wi-Fi," SCEA's Don Mesa said. "We currently anticipate that many, if not most, PS4 games will be Remote Play enabled."
Will a $50 drop in the Vita's price convince you to finally go out and buy one?
