The PlayStation 4 system update 1.70 will be arriving in Europe on April 30, Sony Europe confirmed today. Sony's European arm tweeted the confirmation today, reminding PS4 owners of a few of the features in the upcoming update.

It can be assumed that North America will be getting the update around the same time — I'm guessing April 29 as that's the closest Tuesday, and is when the PlayStation Store is typically updated. Of course, we've reached out for confirmation.
In case you missed it, PS4 update 1.70 will bring with it the ability to turn of HDCP, allowing users to capture gameplay via HDMI. It'll also add SHAREfactory, a "rich video editor" tool that allows you to personalize your video clips, as well as the option to export and save the videos and screenshots you capture to a USB drive.
