Sony hypes PS4 as ‘for the players’ by taking you through the past

Sony has maintained PlayStation 4 is a console for gamers. While Microsoft has offered a variety of functionality with the Xbox One, Sony has stuck by its stance that the PS4 is a gaming console, first and foremost. And to help emphasize that point, PlayStation Access has created a new video that takes us all the way back to 1995 when the original PlayStation launched.

As explained by PS Access' Hollie, "The video is about showing what life and culture was like for each era. It isn't one person necessarily going through all four PlayStation generations but more showing what life would have been like for that person during PS1, 2, 3, and 4."

While life changes, PlayStation has always been for the players. And it seems that will continue with the PS4 when it launches this November.
