The rumors are true! PlayStation is indeed holding an event in early September (September 7th, to be specific) and they will more than likely be revealing the mysterious PlayStation 4 Neo and maybe even show some gameplay for games like God of War 4.
We got confirmation of the event yesterday when some members of the press were sent invitations to the event. Little was said about the event other than it will be held in New York on September 7th at 3 PM EST. The event will be live streamed but Sony declined to mention any specifics about what is being shown at the event.

It should also be noted that Sony opted out of Gamescom this year so this may be their way of making up for it while also not getting possibly overshadowed by other games and announcements. Be sure to come back to GameZone on September 7th to get all the details about the event!
