Sony isn’t exactly sure why the PS4 is selling so well

When you are developing something to appeal to a mass amount of people, you should know what will make people want it, right? That's not always the case. The PlayStation 4 was so popular at release that Sony has had a tough time keeping up with the demand. Things just now evened out.

Recently. Eurogamer had the opportunity so sit down with the President of SCE (Sony Computer Entertainment)  World Wide studios, Shuhei Yoshida, to talk about the recent success that Sony has had with the PS4.

The PS4 has sold over 10 million units and Eurogamer just had to know what Sony thought the reason for the success was. To this question, Yoshida admitted he was "a bit nervous because we [Sony] do not completely understand what's happening." Eurogamer wasn't satisfied with this, so they asked him to further explain the speed of sales. Yoshida simply turned the question on the journalist, asking him to explain why the PS4 was selling so well.

The interview came to an impasse at this point. No one knows why the PS4 is selling so well, but it is.

Why do you think the PS4 is selling so well? Let me know!
