Sony knows you want a new Crash Bandicoot, but they have nothing to say about it

Sony has been taking us on an emotional rollercoaster when it comse to Crash Bandicoot. They have tweeted an image, worn Crash Bandicoot shirts at events, they have even led partner toy companies to believe Crash would make a comeback and accidentally suggest the game is coming back. Of course, the toy company immediately backtracked on their statement.

In addition to that, the voice actor for Doctor Neo Cortex (a character in Crash) teased that the game could be making a comeback. Regardless, Activision still holds the rights to Crash Bandicoot – something that Sony recently made clear.

Unfortunately, Sony has no 'update' on whether or not we are getting the game, but they do know it's something fans want.

"Um…we're certainly aware of the considerable affection–even reverence–in which the mighty Crash is held. But nothing to update at this stage in that area," said SCEE CEO Jim Ryan in an interview with OPM UK (via VideoGamer).

Great. So… They hear your cries for Crash, but they don't want to talk about it.
