Sony: No PS3-to-PS4 upgrade discount for The Last of Us

Sony has revealed that it will not be offering discounts to owners of the PS3 version of The Last of Us looking to upgrade to the Remastered PS4 version. PlayStation 4 gamers looking to purchase The Last of Us: Remastered will be expected to pay the full price of $39.99.

Though Sony has offered cross-gen upgrade discounts in the past, especially during the launch of the PS4, Sony's official EU blog manager Fred Dutton confirmed there are no plans for such an upgrade discount with The Last of Us.

On the bright side, The Last of Us: Remastered already includes all previously released DLC, and any in-game content already purchased should be Cross-Buy.
