Sony releases PS4 System Software Update 4.07; Don’t get excited

Sony has released an update for the PlayStation 4 and it's nothing to get too excited over. Over the past few updates that the PS4 has seen, we got plenty of stability and sometimes saw new features (like folders!). Today brings a new era, Sony is done with stability and has moved on to 'system performance.'

Patch notes for update 4.07 reveal the update "improves the quality of the system performance." We have seen this type update once or twice before. You can download the 297.8MB update at the via the 'download' hyperlink.

While we aren't quite sure what will happen without the stability, we think it may look something like this:
