Sony reportedly working on PS4 with AMD graphics tech

More rumors regarding the PlayStation 4 have sprung up; the latest coming from former AMD employees claiming Sony is working on their next-gen console.  According to Forbes, the sources say the PS4 will feature graphics technology from AMD.

Sony has been long rumored to have been working on a next-gen console, despite repeatedly denying rumors of a PS4.  Their current system, the PlayStation 3, uses graphics technology from Nvidia.  Microsoft's Xbox 360, meanwhile, uses the AMD graphics tech.

Both AMD and Sony declined to comment on the speculation.  Sony has gone on record multiple times saying there is no PS4 in the works and that they have no plans to reveal a new console this year.  They have voiced their support of the PS3's 10-year plan and said their primary focus for 2012 will be the PlayStation Vita.

And in case you were wondering, Microsoft has also denied rumors of an Xbox 720 being in development.
