Sony responds to The Last of Us PS4 rumors

Sony has issued a response to rumors of The Last of Us coming to PlayStation 4 as early as this summer.

"At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject," a Sony Computer Entertainment Europe spokesperson said on the matter.

You may have noticed the statement didn't exactly deny it either. Either way, the general statement comes in response to rumors stemming from a Turkish website in which PlayStation's Eurasian Software Market Manager Sercan Sulun supposedly announced The Last of Us, and its Left Behind DLC, coming to PS4 this summer. His statement echoes rumors that we heard last month of a Game of the Year edition of The Last of Us due out "around July 2014."
