Sony took to Tokyo Game Show with a couple of announcements for the PlayStation 4 that will brighten things up a bit. The PS4 is getting colorful new faceplates and new DualShock 4 colors. Of course, as with most cool things, there's a chance that we won't even be seeing any of these items in North America.
The new faceplates (as seen in the video above) come in nine different colors: Jet Black, Glacier White, Aqua Blue, Red, Purple, Pink, Lime Green, Gold and Silver. Each faceplate is priced at ¥2,500, which is about $20 — but there's no word on whether or not these faceplates will leave Japan.
Look at that Crystal DualShock 4 controller, look at it! You'll be happy to hear that Sony has revealed absolutely nothing about any of the new controller colors making their way to North America. Europe, however, will have access to the Gold and Silver controllers.
Hold back the tears.
