Sony, Steam, and GOG are offering refunds on No Man’s Sky

No Man's Sky has been brewing up so much controversy since launching earlier this month that some fans have declared that the game was falsely advertised. Not only can you not find other players in the game which was teased heavily, but the game straight up erases the progress you've made on some planets and the game is even missing some features both minor and major.

Fans have cried out in anger and sadness, leading to little to no answers from Sean Murray or Hello Games. People have started begging for refunds from places like Amazon, Steam, GOG, and Sony. Most retailers are pretty compliant with the refunds as there has been so much outrage with the game, many of the sellers are even voiding their policies of not giving refunds after players have played the game past a certain point.

Sony is notorious for not giving refunds no matter what are also refunding the game due to a large majority of people complaining about the title. One former Sony employee recently spoke out about players demanding refunds and even labeled the players as "thieves".

So far, I have been unable to get through to Sony's live chat support feature on their website to check to see if I can get a refund but we will update this article if anything changes.

You can read our review of No Man's Sky where we gave it a 7.5/10 and called it "beautiful" but said "it feels unfinished"
