Sony to host PS4 kenyote at Tokyo Game Show next month

Sony Computer Entertainment will reportedly host a PlayStation 4 keynote at the Tokyo Game Show next month on September 19.

According to Game Jouhou, the keynote is tentatively titled "The World PlayStation 4 Creates." It will be hosted by SCE president and group CEO Andrew House, Senior VP Masayasu Ito, and Sony Worldwide president Shuhei Yoshida.

Sony used last year's show to unveil the newer, smaller PlayStation 3, but this year the company will likely use the show to firm up final release plans for the PS4. Tokyo Game Show runs from September 19 through September 22, but prior to the event Sony will also be attending the European-based Gamescom this month where it's believed they will focus on the PlayStation 4's game lineup. Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany and will run from August 21 through August 25, though Sony's press briefing is scheduled for August 20.
