Sony tweaks rules for this weekend’s PS Store discount

Sony has slightly tweaked the rules regarding this weekend's one-time PS Store discount for PSN members, revealing that game preorders are also excluded.

Preorders now joins subscriptions for PS Plus, Music Unlimited, PS Now and rental video content as things not eligible for the 10% discount.

So what can you use the discount on? According to Sony, new releases, indie games, game add-ons and season passes, and a selection of TV shows and movies to own are all eligible.

As a reminder, the discount will be valid from 9:00am PST on January 23 through 9:00am PST on January 26. The promotion code will offer a one-time 10% discount off eligible items in a total cart purchase.
