Friend notifications are one of the most-requested features for the PlayStation 4, and if a new video posted by Sony is any indication, it could be coming soon.
At the beginning of the new Inside PS4 video — designed to showcase the PlayStation 4's multiplayer functionality and capabilities — you can the player receive a notification when a friend signs in. It happens at around the 10 second mark. It's very quick, but it's enough to spark some curiosity among gamers.
Sony hasn't formally announced anything, but the clip suggests it could be coming sooner rather than later.
