Sony has posted a new video advertisement welcoming gamers to this future where you can connect "with the biggest next-generation community of players around the world" using your PlayStation 4.
Whether it's through finding help in a video uploaded from the PS4 to YouTube, messaging one of your friends using the PlayStation app, or utilizing the brand new Share Play feature, the PS4 offers a number of ways to connect to gamers around the world.
Perhaps the most intriguing feature mentioned in the new ad is Share Play. This feature was added with PS4 system update 2.00 and allows any PS Plus member to invite a friend, anywhere, to take turns playing any games with them, or invite another PS Plus member to play together in the same session cooperatively or competitively — regardless of whether or not they own the game. Sometimes their help can be, well, just watch.
