Sony Announces “Magical” PS3 Bundle

Those Japanese get everything, these days. Sony just announced another special edition Playstation 3 available only in Japan.

The “Playstation 3 Ninokuni magical edition” bundle pack will be available from November 17 for a limited offer. The offer will run concurrently with the release of Ninokuni. The bundle will include a special white-based “magical gold” color with a pearly touch along with a 160GB HDD and the Ninokuni software title, available at a recommended retail price of 33,780 yen (including tax). Printed on its front side is a special design of “Shizuku, fairy of Tears,” one of the story’s main characters. Included in the bundle is a matching “magical gold” colored controller.

I honestly don’t know who in Japan at this point doesn’t own a Playstation 3 already, but with Ninokuni being such a large title, I imagine everyone is going to rush out to buy one of these state of the art systems.
