South Park: Fractured but Whole gets fart VR headset

While we patiently await the release of South Park: Fractured but Whole, Ubisoft has been hard at work perfecting a fart. Why would they do this? Well, the perfect fart smell will give Fractured but Whole players a more immersive experience.

In order to bring this immersive experience to players, Ubisoft hired the best noses and engineers to create the Nosulus Rift. The olfactory VR headset that sends farts directly into your face.

“In South Park: The Fractured but Whole you are playing the new kid in town, the hero,” says Ubisoft San Francisco’s Jason Schroder there. “One of your special abilities is the power of your ass. The only way to help people experience that strength is to really make sure that they can feel it, and that means getting really close.”

Whether or not the Nosulus Rift will be commercially available is unknown. However, you'll be able to give it a smell during Gamescom at Ubisoft's booth. Fractured but Whole is due to release on December 6th.
