South Park: The Fractured But Whole hit the market in October, getting a positive review on GameZone, with Dan Miller calling it “a game designed to lighten up a divided populous.” It was released on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. But according to a listing on Australian retailer site, Sanity (via Nintendo Life), the game is possibly also heading to Nintendo Switch.
There’s no official announcement from Ubisoft on the matter, so it’s not a sure thing, but the listing was made after the release of South Park: The Fractured But Whole. If the original listing mentioned Nintendo Switch, it could easily be seen as a mistaken assumption. But the fact that it was added later may mean that Sanity has some insider knowledge that hasn’t made its way to the public yet. The release date is also different, listed the Nintendo Switch version’s release as March 13.
While South Park doesn’t come across as a Nintendo-friendly title, it’s worth noting that Dark Souls Remastered also fits in that category and not only appearing on Nintendo Switch, it was also revealed during a Nintendo Direct. Last year, Ubisoft was asked what their plans regarding development on the Nintendo Switch were, and they simply mentioned that they had plans for many titles. It’s possible that this could have been one of them, as the game was in development at the time.
