Xbox One or PlayStation 4? That's the big debate among gamers as we head into the launch of the next-generation, and the question most general consumers will ask this holiday season. Journalists, analysts, and internet personalities have all weighed in on the subject. Arguments between fanboys have raged on forums and comment threads.
And now, on the verge of the PS4 and Xbox One launch, South Park is weighing in on the debate. With Black Friday quickly approaching, the boys are preparing to battle the crowd to get the best deal on the new gaming system. Unfortunately, it seems the group is split in terms of which next-gen system to get: PS4 or Xbox One?
While I haven't yet watched the full episode, this clip is pure gold. Every now and then Trey Parker and Matt Stone release a gem, and this clip perfectly portrays the arguments made by Sony or Microsoft fanboys.
"The PS4 doesn't have the seamless transition between games, movies, and TV offered by Xbox One."
"The PS4 controller has a touchpad interface."
"That's just how Xbox people are…"
Tell me you haven't seen a comment similar to those somewhere in the recent months. I'm not sure how this episode played out, but you can watch it in full over at the show's website.
On a side note, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are currently helping work on a new game, South Park: Stick of Truth. Interesting enough, it is not being released on either next-gen system; instead, it's coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
