Space Hulk: Deathwing trailer impresses with in-game Unreal Engine 4 visuals

Focus Home Interactive and Streum On Studio have released a brand new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing, a first-person shooter spin-off of Games Workshop's classic Space Hulk board game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The new trailer, comprised entirely of Unreal Engine 4 in-game footage, not only shows off the game's concept, but impressive visuals as well.

In the game, you play as a Librarian of the Deathwing from the Dark Angels, the most secret and feared Space Marine Companies. Today's trailer drops us into a Space Hulk, space debris made up of gigantic mangled asteroids, derelict ship wrecks, and other random material that often contain treasured and ancient lost technologies.

Space Hulk: Deathwing takes you through the claustrophobic tunnels of a Space Hulk where you'll encounter the dangerous Genestealers. You'll have access to new skills and abilities, as well as weapon and equipment upgrades. And as a Librarian, you'll also master the destructive powers of the Psykers. Your performance in battle will grant you Fervor Points to spend on four skill trees which, in turn, allow you to improve your abilities, unlock new powers, access powerful relics and devastating weapons.

Got all that? Just watch the trailer and enjoy the pretty visuals. More details will probably come soon as Space Hulk: Deathwing is due out in 2015 for "consoles" and PC. I'm gonna go ahead and guess Xbox One and PS4.
