Special Wil Wheaton event now live in Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon

Wil Wheaton sure does love his games. In addition to starring in Iridium Studios' There Came an Echo, the former Star Trek actor has now joined with Kabam for an in-game campaign in Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon.

The global campaign starts today and runs until April 28. Wheaton, who will be known as "Advisor Wheaton," will post weekly tweets and video messages across the various social media platforms that share the location of several lost Artifacts spread throughout Atlantis.

“Ever since I first played Civilization way back on my Mac II, I’ve loved strategy games and Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon is awesome. I’ve always been direct and honest with people who read my blog and follow me on social networks, and I can honestly say that I think people will really like this game,” said Wheaton.

“This quest I worked with Kabam to put together is really cool, too, and a great way for new players to discover some of the fun things Dragons of Atlantis has to offer. For those who are trying it for the first time, and for those who are already veteran Lords or Ladies of Atlantis, we have some super cool in-game prizes for everyone who plays with Advisor Wheaton. Did I mention you get to raise a dragon and train it to rain down fiery death on your sworn enemies? Because you do, and it’s awesome!”

Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon is available for free on the App Store and Google Play. Remember to add "_AW" after your Player and City Name to receive a free Advisor Wheaton Prize Chest.
