Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Tom Holland to be young Nathan Drake in Uncharted film

There's finally news on the Uncharted film that's coming from a different source than they rest of the information on the film!

We've heard quite a bit from the Uncharted film's previous scriptwriter, Joe Carnahan, on what he's aiming for with the film, like an R rating and that the movie would not be a straight Indiana Jones ripoff. Unfortunately, Naughty Dog, the developer behind the series, has commented that they have not seen the "beast" of a script.

Deadline is reporting that the Spider-Man: Homecoming star, Tom Holland, will be taking the role of young Nathan Drake in what has become a redrafted as a prequel to the Uncharted series. The film is taking inspiration from the third installment in the series. The film is set to be directed by Shawn Levy, the director behind the Night at the Museum films.

On top of that announcement, Sony is looking for a new writer to draft the storyline to fit the young Nathan Drake theme.
