Spider-Man playthroughs take ‘multiple days,’ says dev

Insomniac Games, the studio working on the PlayStation 4 exclusive Spider-Man game, brought on the game director from Rise of the Tomb Raider onto the Spider-Man project over the holidays. Acting as a design director on Spider-Man, Brian Horton has been able to play the game during tests.

According to Insomniac Games, Spider-Man is currently undergoing “studio-wide” playtests. Details on the playtest are sparse, however, Horton has detailed that each of his Spider-Man playthroughs has taken “multiple days.”

Horton is on his third playthrough.

If Horton and the rest of Insomniac are able to play Spider-Man from beginning to end then the game sounds like it could be pretty far along in development!
