Splatoon 2 is just weeks away, and it sounds like Nintendo will gear up for the game's release with an all-new Nintendo Direct broadcast. The new Direct will go live this Thursday, July 6th at 10 AM EST/7 AM PST and is described asĀ "a re-FRESH-er on some of the new features, weapons, and styles."
That said, it sounds like there won't be much in the way of new content, but to be fair, at this point, it feels like Nintendo has said all they need to say on the game without ruining a few surprises.
One of Splatoon 2's biggest additions is its take on Horde Mode, which it is calling Salmon Run and will release a few new Amiibos alongside the game. Splatoon 2 will also feature Voice Chat, but the way it goes about accomplishing it is a bit rough, to say the least.
Splatoon 2 launches on July 21st exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
