Splatoon DLC adds Custom E-liter 3K and L-3 Nozzlenose weapons

Splatoon's growing catalogue of weapons is certainly appreciated for the way it caters to varied play styles, from the Aerospray MG's rapid-fire shots to the Blaster's slower blasts of ink. Now you can conduct experiments with two new setups being added today as downloadable content.

Introducing the Custom E-liter 3K and the L-3 Nozzlenose, both of which will be available later today at 7:00 PM PT (10:00 PM EST).

Given that charger weapons offer their own brand of fun, having an alternate to the range-excelling E-liter 3K is one we'll take — especially if it means a faster charge speed than the standard model. It comes packed with Squid Beakon and Kraken as sub and special weapons, respectively.

As for the latter, while it does specialize in quick shots, the L-3 Nozzlenose doesn't appear to fire continuously; it has something of a reload effect that must be accounted for. It comes packed with Disruptors and a Killer Wall as sub and special weapons, respectively.

As is the norm when weapon DLC gets added, expect lots of weapon coordination among teams when you head online tonight. By the way, have you mastered the Inkbrush yet?
