Splinter Cell: Blacklist ‘Spies vs. Mercs’ reveal trailer released

Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s launch is still several months out, but hype has already begun to mount with several gameplay trailers released showcasing Sam’s killer gadgets and utensils for mayhem. Today, though, the hype has been raised to yet another level with the release of the “Spies vs. Mercs” mode trailer.

“Multiplayer action redefined” is how Ubisoft labels Blacklist’s Spies vs. Mercs mode in the two-minute action-packed trailer that puts heavy emphasis on both parties. There are still dozens of questions left unanswered even after the trailer, but what can be confirmed is that the Spies will be played in third-person, while Mercs will dish out gunfire in the first-person perspective based on the gameplay shown.

Be sure to check out the trailer below and comment to let us know what you think about the Spies vs. Mercs return in Splinter Cell: Blacklist – set to launch on August 20.
