Splinter Cell is free for a limited time thanks to Ubisoft

To celebrate that Ubisoft has been around for 30 long years they are giving away one free game each month for seven months and the latest free game has been revealed.

Last month Ubisoft gave away the great classic Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (here's how to get it) and today Ubisoft revealed that the original Splinter Cell game will be free from July 13th and onwards until it's time for the next free game.

The first Splinter Cell, one of the best games ever in my opinion, redefined the stealth action genre and was the game which started the great era of Splinter Cell games like Chaos Theory, Pandora Tomorrow, and Conviction. Ubisoft is now giving gamers who missed out on this great game the chance to experience it for free.

PC players can pick this gem of a game for free over at Ubisoft Club on the 13th of July, and don't forget to pick up Prince of Persia: Sands of Time while it's still free.
