Spotify on Xbox rumors heat up

Yesterday, someone snapped a picture of an Xbox executive using the Spotify app on Xbox and today, someone else is throwing fuel onto the fire.

A Microsoft Retail trainee has posted a screen clip (on Reddit) from the Microsoft Retail Training Portal via Microsoft ExpertZone, revealing an announcement page for Spotify releasing on Xbox.

The announcement page noted that Spotify is "coming to WIndows 10 PCs and Xbox" – it should be made clear that Spotify has already released on Windows 10, so this page seems a bit dated. While it is dated, Microsoft Expertzone (the retail training provider for Microsoft) tweeted something about Spotify being on the Xbox in July.

Spotify has been available on PS4 and PS3 since March 30th, 2015, but the UK marketing director for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe did note (back in 2015 when the app released) that it would be a timed-exclusive app in an interview with Eurogamer.
