Square Enix announced today the production of a brand new game, currently titled Nier Project (the subtitle is still a secret). Of course, that won't be the final name of the game, but it's still very early in development over at PlatinumGames.
With more details arriving this Fall 2015, Square Enix shared with us new footage of the game, which consisted mostly of concept art.
Nier was announced as coming to the PlayStation 4.
It's interesting that Square Enix would take a risk on a new Nier game seeing as how the original wasn't particularly loved by all. Over time, it has built more of a cult following, so maybe this is more Square Enix doing some fanservice.
