Square Enix confirms new Tomb Raider in development

Square Enix has announced that they are officially working on a new Tomb Raider game! While they have confirmed the game is in development, they did not offer any details on the game.

Instead of announcing the game and making fans wait, Square Enix has decided to shorten the amount of time between the reveal and the release date.

Note: If you take the first letter of each sentence, it spells SHADOW.

The next Tomb Raider game is set to be revealed at a “major event” in 2018.

As far as details on the upcoming Tomb Raider game, there have been rumors that the game will be called ‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider‘. Some key art for the game released, showing off the title and Croft holding various weapons.
