Square Enix is revealing a new action game at Tokyo Game Show

Square Enix will be revealing a new action game next week at the Tokyo Game Show on September 15th. According to the event's lineup on their website, the game is simply titled "new action" with no further information so far.

The reveal is set for 1PM local time in Japan, which translates to 11PM Eastern time here in the United States the day before on September 14th. A few days later from 1-2 PM on the 18th (11p-12am the 17th est), there will be a livestream of the game which you can view either on the game's Youtube or Niconico channel.

Although no studio information has been revealed yet, it may be by the same studio which did I am Setsuna, Tokyo RPG Factory. Last month news popped out that Square Enix trademarked in Japan “Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth,” or “You and the Labyrinth of Fog.” According to Siliconera, the I am Setsuna game translates as "Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna", which is similar to the trademarked title. No other information is available at the moment but we'll let you know as soon as we hear on the 14th next week. Stay tuned.
