The last we heard of Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake was that Kingdom Hearts 3 still has "untouched worlds" and the Fantasy 7 Remake is "progressing." The director of both games, Tetsuya Nomura, has offered some details on both games, but we haven't really seen much as far as a firm release date goes.
Well, Square Enix has stepped on our hearts with their latest list of releases, which has put both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake in the 'Fiscal Year 2018 and beyond' category. While most games listed have a general release date (like 'to be released in 2017') neither game has a release window.
It's interesting that Final Fantasy 7 Remake still has a TBD release date, especially considering that it will release in an undisclosed amount of parts (though Square Enix knows how many), with each part/episode being the size of Final Fantasy 13.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was revealed during Sony's E3 2013 press conference and Final Fantasy 7 Remake was revealed during E3 2015.
