Square Enix releases info on Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC

Square Enix announced plans today at Jump Festa 2012 for upcoming downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been much confirmed for DLC in the US, but in Japan, the Omega DLC will be available on December 22.

Of course, it has already been announced that Noel will have an Ezio Auditore da Firenze costume, but Serah will also be getting a somewhat unusual costume in February, a pink bikini. Also, according to rpgsite.net, Lightning also gets into the mix and is a part of the Colosseum DLC where rumor has it that she will be supporting her costume from the original Final Fantasy XIII.

Along with the costumes announcement, CVG is reporting that there will be more DLC that will "expand on the world of XIII-2." Director of Final Fantasy XIII-2, Motomu Toriyama, said they have been designing and planning content including DLC. Although he wouldn't confirm anything, he did say, "So, I'm sure you will be able to continue playing the game long after its release."

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released on January 31, 2012 in North America for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
