Square Enix reveals Crystal Conquest for browsers

Square Enix has parted the curtains on its upcoming "real time battle strategy game" Crystal Conquest, which will launch on Yahoo! Games this summer. The company previously teased the title with a brief trailer in Japanese. Now we know a few details about the game.

Crystal Conquest is being described as a team-based side-scroller that will ultimately support 20-on-20 battles. Players can choose to play as one of four classes, using unique skills and summons to overcome foes. Players prepare a combat strategy in the lobby prior to battles by assembling a Skill Deck and Wild Card Skill Deck.

An alpha test is scheduled. Expected in the coming months, Crystal Conquest will be free-to-play.
