While Microsoft brings the "most powerful console ever" to life with Project Scorpio and Sony ups the graphics game with the PS4 Pro, Square Enix is keeping their eyes on a different prize altogether – the Nintendo Switch.
While Square Enix will continue supporting other platforms like Scorpio and Playstation, they will be paying close attention to the Nintendo Switch. Speaking with Japan-based Nikkei (via WCCF), Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda confirmed that they will be focusing more on support for the Nintendo Switch.
Beyond I am Setsuna and Dragon Quest X, Square Enix hasn't really announced too many major plans for the Nintendo Switch, but at least we know they have plans… It's a wonder whether or not the Hitman series is a part of these plans or if that Avengers game is coming.
