Square Enix trademarks ‘Tomb Raider: Reflections’

Publisher Square Enix has trademarked the name "Tomb Raider: Reflections" in North America and Europe.

The classificiation refers to "computer game software," so Reflections could easily be a new, unannounced game. The company already teased that it has some kind of announcement in store for early December, possibly during Spike's VGX Awards. An Amazon Italy listing for a Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has led some to think a port is due for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the new next-gen consoles out this month.

We already know developer Crystal Dynamics is planning a sequel to Tomb Raider, which launched back in March. It could be ready to unveil that title. Back in August, it was apparently "well into development."

Spike's VGX takes place on Dec. 7.
