Square gives a little look into possible Final Fantasy XIII-2 downloadable content

 
If you picked up Final Fantasy XIII-2 a couple of days ago, you've probably already realized the main story centers on Serah and Noel as they travel throughout time and space to save the future. Final Fantasy XIII-2 Ultimania guidebooks, released in Japan, seem to give more detail in possible downloadable content featuring more backstory for the other characters from Final Fantasy XIII.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is considered to be the "Serah and Noel" volume with more volumes to come explaining in more detail each character's story in Final Fantasy XIII-2. For instance, a Snow, Sazh and Lightning volume will possibly be available in the near future. Although it would be great if these were all released as DLC, Final Fantasy XIII-2 director, Motomu Toriyama, and producer, Yoshinori Kitase, said they were looking at other forms of media to explain the stories as well bringing up novels as one of the other options for the volumes.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the sequel to Final Fantasy XIII and centers around Serah and Noel, who time travel their way right into their destiny. The game is now available in the US for the Xbox 360 and PS3. [Andriasang]
