Star Fox Zero will feature amiibo compatibility

With all of the rumors and speculation surroudning amiibo functionality with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Nintendo has come out and officially detailed its plans for "early 2016."

Among those plans are amiibo functionality for Star Fox Zero, which launches exclusively for Wii U on April 22.

Nintendo will wait to share more details "at a later time," but it's worth mentioning that there are already amiibo figures for Fox and Falco. Without the mention of any new amiibo, it's possible both of these figures will be compatible with the game.
