Star-Lord’s Awesome Mix Vol. 1 has been created in Spotify

My body is not quite ready for Guardians of the Galaxy to release next month in theaters. Maybe I should prep said body with my ears.

Someone has done the work of creating the complete listing from Star-Lord's Awesome Mix Vol. 1 in Spotify. Director James Gunn revealed the songs Peter Quill jams out to on his Facebook page earlier this week. Be warned, though, as he gave a spoiler warning for those who want to be surprised during the film.

Thanks to the power of Spotify, I have instant access to each of the twelve songs on the mixtape.

Don't worry, it kicks off with "Hooked on a Feeling," as it should due to the fact that it's played a pretty vital part in trailers.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters on August 1th.
