Today, the Star Trek Into Darkness app was made available for free from the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android. With so much hype around the highly anticipated sequel, users who have the app will have access to all Star Trek content with the opportunity to participate in missions and win prizes.
Using technology from Qualcomm and their augmented reality platform, the Star Trek Into Darkness app will allow users to give deeper in the Star Trek universe than ever before by collecting points, seeing content, participating in missions and interacting with materials from the film to work their way through the Star Trek Academy.
