Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will get a Beta this Fall

Those who pre-order can get in early.

We're just one day away from the Star Wars: Battlefront II gameplay premier, and EA has been dropping teases in recent days to start the hype train. In a new post on their website, EA has announced that they will be launching a beta ahead of the release sometime during the Fall. The beta will be available to everyone, but if you want to get in early, you can do so by pre-ordering the game (of course).

Pre-ordering will also net you some in-game exclusives as well. Here's a rundown of what you'll get.

  • Instant access to an upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda

  • Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey

  • Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards

    • Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze

    • Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind

    • Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade

  • Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance

If you pre-order the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition, you will get to play the game three days early and get instantly unlocked upgraded versions of all four trooper classes. But don't worry, everything that's immediately unlocked in the Deluxe Edition can be earned in the standard edition.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be getting "three times the content" compared to the original game, which will include a single player campaign

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 releases on November 17th, 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
