Star Wars Battlefront's beta launches today, but a few gamers with early access have scraped the game's files for new information that EA or DICE have not yet announced. What they found are sound files for more heroes as well as mention of a new mode.
To date, EA has only confirmed Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett as playable heroes. However, it was widely expected that Han Solo would be included, and it looks like that's true. Audio files for Princess Leia and The Emperor were also discovered, so it looks like they might be playable as well.
Perhaps the most interesting thing to come of the leaks is a new, currently unannounced game mode — Hero Hunt. Unfortunately, the files don't reveal details, but going off the name I'm going to guess it has something to do with, well, hunting down the game's iconic heroes.
Star Wars Battlefront's beta kicks off today at 1:00pm ET, and is open to all players. The full game launches on November 17th. If you don't plan on playing the beta, feel free to watch some of our gameplay in the video above.
