Last week Star Wars Battlefront began its beta journey across the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The beta has been open to everyone who chooses to download it and was intended to come to a close today, but that won't be happening.
In order for DICE to get all the feedback they can from the beta, they have decided to extend the beta by one day. That means that if you haven't had the chance to play, you have until October 13th to make sure you get in on the mayhem.
Dice took to their forums to thank everyone who has been playing the beta thus far and to announce the beta's extension.
"Every time you log on, it's helping us ensure the experience is going to be great at launch. As we get into the late stages of the beta, we will begin conducting further technical tests on our infrastructure.
"These additional tests will start on Monday, October 12 and will run through Tuesday, October 13th, which will add an additional day to the open Beta. These tests are to help us find some extreme scenarios, and that means some players may experience occasional issues such as being kicked from the game or losing connectivity. This is all being done in the name of shoring up our infrastructure before we launch on November 17th."
Battlefront will be making its debut on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 17th.
