The beta is set to release on October 8 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Origin) and will last until October 12, but before it releases there are a couple things you should now.
On October 7th, a day before the beta releases, PC players will be able to pre-load the beta via Origin beginning at 1am PT/10am CET. To pre-load the beta, players will have to check here to grab the download when it's available.

The beta will allow players to experience three modes:
When the beta launches players will be able to download a Companion app through the Apple App Sore and Google Play store that will allow players to view in-game states and offers a game called "Base Command" that unlocks items in Battlefront.
