Star Wars Battlefront gameplay receives ‘superb ovation’ at private retailer showing

While Star Wars Battlefront is still very much a mystery to many of us, certain folks part of the GameStop retail chain have been treated to a behind-closed-doors look at the highly anticipated game.

These types of private showings between publisher and retailer are typically kept a secret, but outspoken EA executive Peter Moore was proud of his recent visit, even boasting on twitter about the "superb ovation" the latest gameplay footage received. Here's the series of tweets Moore shared with us.

It's been a long while since EA shared anything official about the new Battlefront, which is being developed by DICE, but with the game expected to release later this year I expect we'll see something soon. I'm thinking we'll get some sort of teaser leading up to a much larger gameplay reveal at E3 in June.
