Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be playable at E3

Electronic Arts has formally announced its E3 broadcast plans, confirming that its ninth annual E3 press conference will be broadcast live on Monday, while also revealing the full list of games that'll show attendees will be able to go hands-on with on the show floor.

As expected, all the latest iterations in EA's sports franchises — Madden NFL 16, FIFA 16, NBA LIVE 16, and NHL 16 — will be hands-on, but so will some of the publisher's more anticipated games like Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, and the newly revealed Need for Speed.

The full list of games that'll be at EA's E3 booth include:

  • FIFA 16
  • EA Sports FIFA (for mobile)
  • Madden NFL 16
  • Madden NFL Mobile
  • Minions Paradise
  • Mirror's Edge Catalyst
  • NBA LIVE 16
  • Need for Speed (the reboot)
  • NHL 16
  • EA Sports Rory Mcllroy PGA Tour
  • Star Wars Battlefront
  • Star Wars: The Old Republic

Though we've known for a while now that we'd be getting our first look at Star Wars Battlefront's actual gameplay at E3, the fact that it'll be hands-on is a pleasant surprise. It's also nice to see that the newly revealed Need for Speed will be playable.

EA's press conference will be streamed stream live at livetoplay.ea.com on Monday June 15, at 1:00pm PDT / 9:00pm BST.
