While EA and DICE work out the details on their third expansion for Star Wars Battlefront, Death Star, they are bringing a new offline mode to the game, in hopes of satisfying their community's wishes.
Skirmish, a new mode that gives players the option to play against offline bots in a solo mission or with a friend in co-op split screen. On consoles, Skirkmish will be playable on different difficulty levels across two modes: Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron. The new mode will be available on July 20th.
Of course, Star Wars Battlefront isn't based off of offering an offline gaming experience so there will be a number of Hutt Contracts to bring new weapons and rewards, as well as open trials for players to experience the Bespin DLC if they have yet to purchase it.
Death Star, which is set to release in September, will bring new maps (both on ground and in space), new weapons, Star Cards and two heroes.
